Christ Church, Siyabalangamuwa, was joyfully rededicated on 21st December 2025 following extensive renovations. The service was graced by the presence of Bishop Rt. Rev. Nishantha Fernando and Archdeacon Ven. Sanath Medagamgoda, alongside a gathering of clergy including Priest-in-Charge Rev. Samantha Kumara Seneviratne, Rev. Ranjana Laksri Karunaratne, Mallika Wijeratne, and Rev. Sister. Chithra, with additional participation from priests of the Salvation Army.
A special note of gratitude is extended to the Diocese of Colombo community for their generous contributions, which made the renovation of the church possible. The coordination efforts of Rev. John Marshall, Priest-in-Charge of St. Matthew's Church, Thalangama, Diocese of Colombo, were instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. Rev. Marshall also participated in the service, representing the Diocese of Colombo.
The rededication of Christ Church marks a renewed chapter in its ministry, continuing its mission to serve the spiritual and communal life of Siyabalangamuwa.
