The opening ceremony of Bishop’s College, Kurunagala was held on 7th January, marking an important milestone in the expansion of Anglican involvement in education in the region.

The occasion was graced by the Bishop and the Archdeacon of Kurunegala, along with other religious leaders, members of the regional police leadership, the newly appointed Principal and staff, and the inaugural batch of students with their parents. Their presence reflected the strong community support and shared vision behind the establishment of the college.
At present, the first building of the school has been completed and is ready for academic activities, while the land has been secured for future expansion, enabling the institution to grow steadily in the years ahead. Bishop’s College, Kurunagala stands as a significant opportunity to strengthen quality education rooted in Christian values, discipline, and service, while being open and accessible to the wider community.

Admissions are now open for 2026 from Play Group to Advanced Level (A/L), following the Local Syllabus in English Medium.
