The Diocese of Kurunegala witnessed two meaningful events during October that celebrated the life and ministry of two visionary Bishops.

Earlier, the current Bishop Rt. Rev. Nishantha Fernando held the post of Rural Dean of Kandy Deanery and after that, Rev. Anuruddha Bandara has been appointed to this post.
He is currently the Priest-in-Charge of the Church of Christ the King at Rathmeewela and Christ Church at Kadugannawa. Rev. Anuruddha Bandara, who was ordained in 2009, has previously served in St. Andrew's Church at Gampola and St. Peter & Paul Church at Hewadiwela.
මීට පෙර නුවර ඩීනරියේ වසම් නායක ලෙස කටයුතු කලේ වත්මන් බිශොප් ගරු නිශාන්ත ප්රනාන්දු පියතුමා වන අතර ඉන්පසු මෙම තනතුරට ගරු අනුරුද්ධ බණ්ඩාර පියතුමා පත් කර ඇත.
ගරු අනුරුද්ධ බණ්ඩාර පියතුමා රත්මීවල සහ කඩුගන්නාව දේවස්ථාන වල වර්ථමාන භාරකාර පූජකවරයා ලෙස කටයුතු කරයි. 2009 දී පූජක පදවියට ඇතුලත් වූ මේ පියතුමා මීට පෙර ගම්පොල සහ හේවාදිවෙල දේවස්ථාන වල ද සේවය කර ඇත.
