Notice of the Diocesan Council for the Election of the 7th Bishop of Kurunagala

As decided by the Standing Committee meeting held on 10th October 2022, the notice is hereby.

Given that the above Council will be held on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at 10.30 a.m. at the Bishop Lakshman Wickremasinghe Centre, Kurunegala, commencing with a celebration of Holy Eucharist at 9.00 a.m. in the Cathedral Church of Christ the King, Kurunegala.

The Election will be conducted according to Chapter 8, Canon rule 3, Appendix A1 of the Church of Ceylon Constitution. Please pray for God's wisdom and guidance in this regard.
