Rt. Rev Nishantha Fernando visited several churches in the Kandy deanery today. Here, the new bishop has been welcomed by processions organized by the members of the churches.
Here, the new bishop also participated in the confirmation of some new members.
The churches visited by the new bishop are Getambe, Haguranketha, and Katukele. The church where he was the last priest-in-charge is St. John's Church in Getambe.
ගරු නිශාන්ත ප්රනාන්දු රදගුරු තුමා අද දින නුවර වසමේ දේවස්ථාන කිහිපයකට පැමිණෙන ලදි. මෙහිදී නව රදගුරු තුමාව දේවස්ථාන වල සාමාජිකයින් විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද පෙරහැර වල් වලින් පිලිගනු ලැබ ඇත.
මෙහි දී ඇතැම් නව සාමාජිකයින් ස්ථිර කිරීම් කිහිපයකටද නව රදගුරු තුමා සහභාගී විය.
නව රදගුරු තුමා මෙලෙස පැමිණි දේවස්ථාන වන්නේ ගැටඹේ, හඟුරන්කෙත සහ කටුකැලේ දේවස්ථාන වේ. ඔහු අවසන් වරට භාරකාර පූජකත්වය දැරූ දේවස්ථානය වන්නේ ද ගැටඹේ ශාන්ත ජෝන් දේවස්ථානයයි.
