My dear friends,
On September 24, 2022, at the conclusion of the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Kurunagala, I stepped down as the Bishop of Kurunagala and the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Ceylon in Sri Lanka. From September 25 until March 19 (until the episcopal ordination of 7 Bishop of Kurunagala) I'll be functioning as the Vicar General of the Diocese of Kurunagala.
After relinquishing my duties we'll be living in our new home in Kaudupellela, Matale in Sri Lanka, and might get involved in another appropriate ministry according to my experiences and exposure.
As usual, Arlene is involved in her horticultural activities. Sethsara continues to read for an English honors degree at the Open University of Sri Lanka. Sethlath helps the Bishop's office and plays bongos at various services and functions.
As we prepare ourselves to enter into this new era of our lives we thank you for all the support granted to us with your encouragement.
