The Young Adults Camp, organized by the Board of Religious Education of the Kurunegala Diocese, was held at Kudagama Roman Catholic Church from September 15th to 17th. This spiritually enriching event brought together 130 children, aged 12 to 16, from various parishes across the diocese.
Throughout the three days, the participants engaged in a range of activities that deepened their faith and understanding of God's love. From worship sessions to group discussions and fellowship, the camp served as a platform for these young minds to grow in their Christian walk.
A highlight of the camp was the commitment of 50 children who, after much prayer and reflection, dedicated themselves to God's service. Their decision is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit and the support of their families and church communities.
"We are grateful to God for the many blessings we have witnessed during this camp. Seeing so many young hearts dedicated to God's service is truly humbling. Glory be to God!" said a representative from the Board of Religious Education.
As the diocese continues to nurture the next generation of believers, we give thanks for the continued guidance and grace of God in all things.
Glory be to God!
